News:

Some very sad news about one of our classmates... Eddie Ramirez has passed away.

Eduardo E. Ramirez November 7, 1959 to October 9, 2001. 

Here is Eddie, speaking to a couple of his former teachers at the Fr. Thomas A. Dennehy Gym Dedication in 1999.   Eddie was one of the most spirited Alumni of St. Brendan High.  I'm sure many of you will remember him as DJ at many of our parties.   If you met Eddie, you remembered him.  He had an awesome sense of humor, but could be serious when he needed to be.   I remember how Eddie would often talk about Fr. Dennehy and the effect he had on him.   I think Eddie would admit that he wasn't the best student and was starting to head in a very bad direction.   Fr. Dennehy wouldn't put up with his mistakes and, if you remember Father, you remember that he wasn't shy to let you know when you messed up.  This was what Eddie said he needed at the time.   Eddie credited Father for saving his life.   We've now lost both Eddie and Father Dennehy.   I suspect they're both back together working hard to take care of St. Brendan's wayward students. 

Eddie is survived by his wife and three children.
