Try as she might, Katrina could not keep the
Class of 1985 from celebrating its 20th Anniversary Class Reunion the weekend of
August 26-28, 2005. All friends, they began the weekend with Happy Hour at the
Navio Bar, Sheraton Hotel, Miami, Florida. Everyone that attended was glad to
see each after so many years, and the refrain was the same, time and time again:
"you look exactly the same!" but it wasn't true, age had made them all
more beautiful and handsome. The next night, a Gala Dinner at the Colonnade in
Coral Gables, Florida, brought more smiles and hugs, and tears at the sight of
their slide show as memories began to flow. On Sunday, Fr. Jim officiated a Mass
in the St. Raphael Chapel assisted by 1985's children. After the Mass, everyone
went out back to the gym to enjoy a picnic, where they met each other's growing
families and basked in the sun, together one last time until the next reunion.
